Alisha priant. by tomagraphiste
Alisha priant.

The day has barely stand up. Along the river, in the countryside away from the stress of the city, Alisha pray. Calmly and simply.

A drawing with a much more light background than the last.

Alisha victime d'une agression by tomagraphiste

Alisha has just been bullied by some Chinese activists. At the passage of the young woman a group of men have broken them glass bottles under her soles before taking on her violently. And while Alisha did not let her, she returned wounded, her soles bleeding notched deep in several places. Opame will take care of all this but Alisha has made an important scare.

How is have come to this? Some explanations are needed.

2050. China has definitively assimilated Tibet. The local culture is a distant memory despite some sporadic resistance pockets here and there. And yet resistance was fierce and the conflict bloody . War broke out shortly after the discovery of the riches of the subsoil of the Himalayas. The interest of the region suddenly became highly strategic for Beijing and assimilation of indigenous populations a priority. The Tibetans were joined in their struggle by numbers of ethnic minorities in neighboring countries, all descendants of Tibet.

Unfortunately, despite a heroic struggle, resistance was swept. Nepal's mountain range was a temporary fallback base for numbers of fighters. China fearing renewed tension found in the 2033 earthquake a great excuse to penetrate in Nepali territory, on behalf of the defense of the stability of the region and assistance to populations in need.

So under the guise of humanitarian action and the fight against terrorism that China set up, with the approval of the Nepalese government and an understood immobolisme from the west, some measures of exceptions and repression of certain minorities. The Sherpas,Alisha's ethnic minority, was part of them.
The simplest measure to observe is the prohibition of wearing some shoes in any place. Serving both distinctive sign of bullying and humiliation it had primarily intended to limit the travels inside the country, most Sherpas living in high altitude with extreme temperatures.

If Alisha is accustomed to walking barefoot since childhood, she supports fewer and fewer the provocations and violences of Bejing agents...

Dialog:
-"It's finish My Dear. Guaranteed without scars."
-"I had forgotten the joys of lively suture on sensitive areas.
But beyond this incident, I remain concerned about the rise of these tensions fully orchestrated..."

Alisha en Tongkok by tomagraphiste

Alisha grew up and received her education in mountainous regions. She enjoys some free time to go back to see an old school friend she has not seen for 10 years. The opportunity for her to dress in the traditional attire of Sherpa women: The Tongkok.

And if the young man finds well the character of the little girl he knew, he is a bit destabilized by how much she has become a woman...

text:
"Under the snow, in the cold Alisha recovered her old candor ... In this case I saw again this assertive and dynamic little girl, even if in certain aspects she was clearly nothing more a little girl ..."
"Now that I have finally found a tongkok at my size, we can finally go my dear Chogyal!"

In this clear morning, Alisha, invited by a wealthy friend, enjoy a tea and a breathtaking view of the Himalayan chain. Serene and rested, she seems lost in thought. A face that she seldom shows.

A real rare moment of calm and true intimacy.

Lenaick (Commission) by RinLockhart

"This is the kind of beautiful drawings RinLockhart will draw for you. So, listen to your heart, be solidary and help RinLockhart !"

Dear readers,

This is the first time I allows me to relay that kind of request, but the situation seems to be rather worrying. One of my long time readers RinLockhart :iconrinlockhart: comes to see her heallth insurance ended and she still has to find $700 (from the initial $3 000) in order to pay her medical care. She has a full time job but this is not enough.

A modest donation would it really be welcome as the lack of health insurance in the United States can quickly worsen an already precarious situation. RinLockhart :iconrinlockhart: offers for everyone a vast panel of possibility to make you a nice commission.

If you wish to help her and a nice drawing, please be patient as the work accumulates for her. But nothing prevents you to help her with a symbolic dollar.

Thank you for reading and thanks in advance for your solidarity.

Toma.

Merci beaucoup. :)
